I had no idea that an award ceremony is going on in the blogosphere. Erica told me abut the one being organized by Amanda. I am approaching another weekend, and it is really difficult for me to grab my formal outfit for the ceremony. I just realized that was holding a bottle of The Famous Grouse, assuming it to be mic. This confession is surely going to lower down the expectations of my audience. Come on, I am quite sober to accept the award, look at it with a twinkle in my eyes, and extend my thanks to Erica. My readers are my strength, and the one who nominated me is someone who never misses my posts. This should not go down as buttering, because toast is the only thing on which I apply butter. That was a bad joke, I accept. This award night happened long back, and today, Priya gave the kick-start to another weekend by nominating for this award again.
The sober side of me prevails, and I proudly present my nomination for ‘The Premio Dardos Award’
I would like to quote this from Erica’s post: The Premio Dardos Award exists to acknowledge the values that every blogger shows in their effort to transmit cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values every day. These stamps were created with the intention of promoting fraternization between bloggers, a way of showing affection and gratitude for work that adds value to the Web.
Here are the rules for this award!
1) Accept the award by posting it on your blog along with the name of the person that has granted the award and a link to his or her blog.
2) Include the image of the “Premios Dardos” in the post.
3) Pass the award to another 15 blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgement.
I have to do some research to nominate my fellow bloggers, because I do not want to ping those who do not follow the award functions. So, here are the nominees:
1) Sonu Duggal
2) Zaid Shah
3) Mary
4) Nirmala
6) Albamila
7) Jan
8) Natasha
9) Lydia
10) Prajakta
11) Bethula
13) Punam
14) Shweta
15) Rewa
Choosing nominees is the most difficult part, I pass on the baton to my nominees. Have a fruitful weekend. All of you are welcome to join me backstage, for some fermented juice. I hope you did not observe that I am still holding that Famous Grouse bottle 😉

Your post made me smile, laugh, and very humble! It is wonderful how you are an extension of Amanda’s blog party. Thank you so much for your lovely words. I love to follow you and always make it an effort – even when time is rare – to visit your posts. You are making an effort to create your posts and I want to honor that with my visits, likes, and comments. I am glad and thankful we are connected.
